Starting March 30 through June 26, 2009 from sunrise to sunset, seven days a week, 1500 census takers will begin their duties. The first step in the process is that they will go into the neighborhoods and physically count houses.
After that they will return and go door to door getting census information for the household. They will not be wearing a consistent uniform, but will be displaying identification. They will also be carrying hand-held computers.
